Hey basshead. Nice site mate. Always good to find a good informative site.
Found a problem that you might be interested in, with the macbook pro’s running 10.6 “the leopard of snowyness…”
Seems the battery monitor is a bit temperemental (read as mental) and tells you to get your battery serviced by mr apple. So along you go and they tell you that your 4 month old battery isnt covered by their warranty. Hmmm….
So, using a bit of 2000 grit wetndry, i polished up the terminals in the battery and under the mbp, et voila..poxy message gone…will keep you informed if thigns change…:)
